Click on My Profile up above.

You will see "CONTROL PANEL" and under it, click My Subscription.

Those are the threads and sections you are subscribed to... you may uncheck the ones you don't want to stop receiving so many emails.

Amanda , Is there anything we can do to get rid of the nonsense that keeps getting onto the forum? Is this the result of bumping?

 

I think it is just spammers that hit the site. I noticed a lot of spam lately and it is moving old posts up to the top. I guess the mods need a little more time here. They were doing good for a long time, just about the last 5 months have been heavier.

 

There has been a large increase in spam here as both you guys have noticed.

I've been working up north and already sent the admin and mods a heads up. On a bad day, the spams can be in the hundreds with as many as 10 or so members being banned. On a good day one or two, or if lucky, none. Seems to come in 'waves' and has gotten much worse in the last few months, partly since my monitoring has been spotty but more so given the their push to get them through under different IP addresses ect. or recruiting others to get them in since most of the spam seems to follow the same products/services. I'm aware of the incresed volume and that it makes the threads polluted at the very least. The site has picked up momentum and sometimes hard to check every thread/post.

Thanks for your patience, the spam has not gone un noticed and has been a challenge given their determination. The volume may not change if the admin doesn't repond, hopefully they will, but either way, it won't continue much after I finish my work upstate

Hayapower, Me and my brother Thirdrem may be on the same IP address, I am asking that you recognize that neither of us are a spam. We are Brothers and share the same Internet Connection IP.
We had a similar problem on Peach-parts when both of us got banned because they thought we were the same person, in which they call trolls. Please see that we are NOT the same person, we are not spammers.
