The 6.7 is a pulling beast.. Mileage is pretty good too, empty and under loads.
How often are you towing, altitudes, grades etc? may be a tip the scale decision maker.. Future plans for over 12K?
Diesel is more cost initially, services and maintenance more, but for grunt, hard to beat. Resale, a bit better in most cases.

6.2 is very capable platform, and the price difference between the two would buy some gas
Don't have any real life stats between the 6.2/6.7,, but my new one,,, nice..
My old 05 6.0 was a great truck, well cared for and virgin to 175K, and towed some very heavy loads. I like the idea of have 'reserve' as far as power/torque load and weight pulling capabilities. Have you driven them both?

Approx where are you located and what type equip do you need? Single, tandem tractors, straight trucks are usually available at most locations.

If Ryder doesn't have the equip you need on site , it can get it quickly.
