Thumbs up

Welcome to the site..

The 6.7 is a pulling beast.. Mileage is pretty good too, empty and under loads.
How often are you towing, altitudes, grades etc? may be a tip the scale decision maker.. Future plans for over 12K?
Diesel is more cost initially, services and maintenance more, but for grunt, hard to beat. Resale, a bit better in most cases.

6.2 is very capable platform, and the price difference between the two would buy some gas
Don't have any real life stats between the 6.2/6.7,, but my new one,,, nice..
My old 05 6.0 was a great truck, well cared for and virgin to 175K, and towed some very heavy loads. I like the idea of have 'reserve' as far as power/torque load and weight pulling capabilities. Have you driven them both?

Default Gas or Diesel

Roughly tow 6-8 times summer. Not lots hills, unless down in Smokie area. Plan go out west in few years when retire. Probably not go over 12000# ant time soon if then.Just wasn't sure about long inclines or serious mountains.

We are in urgent need of tractors and trucks for rent for three months. We are looking for a company with a wide range of equipment and flexible lease terms. Can anyone recommend a reliable supplier in our region?

I would advise you to contact Ryder. Their wide range of equipment and flexible rental terms fully met our requirements. Thanks to Ryder, we were able to successfully complete our projects on time and on budget. More information about Ryder can be found at https://ryder.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html . I recommend contacting them if you need reliable vehicle rentals in your area.

Approx where are you located and what type equip do you need? Single, tandem tractors, straight trucks are usually available at most locations.

If Ryder doesn't have the equip you need on site , it can get it quickly.
