Default 707 HP Challenger vs Ford Mustang: Thoughts?

Does anyone here feel like 707HP Challenger is taking away Mustang's King of the Mountain status?

I read about this view in one of the facebook groups and thinking no matter what Mustang is still it's own great unique performance vehicle with its own history.

The mustang will always mean more to me than simply a car, but to me it is American history. The Challenger though is its own beast and I think that the Mustang would have to be pretty decked out to stand a chance.

Thumbs up

I'd be happy with either

Although I've always had a weak spot for Mustangs, you just gotta appreciate the build. I think/hope with the recent drop in fuel prices should help to extend production of the new super power muscle cars. Will be a sad day, as in the past even with the Mustang, when the highest HP will be a front wheel drive 4cyld.

When I bought my Hayabusa, the wife asked why I needed a bike that closes in on 200mph ranges, I said, commute traffic!!
