98 ford f450 with a v10 triton engine
hey guys I am working on a 98 ford f450 with a v10 triton engine in it. and I was wandering 2 questions. 1, I was wanting to know if you guys have the valve adjustment specs for the v10 triton engine, and how I can get them. and 2 it's my brothers truck and he said he was with the driver that was driving it. and he said he was going down the highway, and he said he heard a loud bang, and there was no throttle response after that happened. so I am tearing into it. and I drained the oil and there was a little bit of antifreeze mixed in with the oil and I was thinking he blew one of the head gaskets. do you guys think it's a bad head gasket?. any help would be appreciated thanks.
You might be able to rent one locally, like Autozone/O Reillys..
It's a little hand pump that you connect to the radiator neck and pump up to15lbs press and watch the gauge. Depending on what the pressure does should help to pin down if coolant is getting into place where it does not belong.
