Default For those in Canada - Service for my 2005 Focus

My 2005 Focus ZX5 Hatchback is out of warranty and needs some minor servicing (brakes and exhaust). I've never taken my car to Canadian Tire but there's one close to my home with a service bay and I'm considering it. Have any of you had any experience with Canadian Tire's auto service or heard anything about it? Should I give them a try?

Don't do it. You will end up spending gobs, they will replace a lot of parts another shop wouldn't. They don't try penetrating oil on the caliper bleeder screw, they just break 'em off and tell you that you need new calipers (even though they didn't need to bleed the brakes for a pad and rotor change. THey charge you for a can of brake cleaner to do a pad and rotor job - a whole can for each wheel (yes, this was on my quote). Find a local family shop. Use Canadian tire to buy household stuff like toasters and garbage cans. Seriously.
