Hello everyone. I have a 2019 Ford Connect XLT and today it did not start. When that happened it threw two codes: P0627 and P006C, after unplugging and plugging the battery they disappeared. Now it’s cranking strong but no start. I have removed the gas tank and tested the fuel pump with a battery and directly put power to it and it’s working. All fuses in the engine compartment are good. Can someone help me with this before sending it to the Ford dealership to take my skin off. Thank you in advance.

 

I suspect the 006 code is caused by the 627 code which tells us the fuel system is not providing fuel for the hi press system to work.

Suggest you make sure there are no fuses inside the vehicle that should be checked. That info is in your owner's manual.. Need that because all vehicles are not the same. The manual will tell you where the inertia switch is located and how to check it. Let us know how you make out with this, thanks.

Checking fuses can be done very easily with a simple test light. Next opportunity would be a good idea to invest in a good one.
