Default What is the deal with Georgia dealerships

I have a 2017 F350 needs rearmain seal replaced, all the dealers within 150 miles of me say they need my truck for a month and a half at least to fix it. That means it will go under the lemon law if they have it for 28 consecutive days not including weekends and holidays. Are they going to fix my truck and stop "Gaming" around or give me a new truck. No loaner or rental to cover the entire time they have my truck. How am I supposed to live and work with no vehicle. Anyone else having this issue? WTH is the warranty for if they won't just fix defects and give it back. They place all their workers on the profit vehicles Non-warranty, and put warranty work as last to fix, who controls this "stuff", where are the regional warranty representatives? Did they fire them or just remove their power to make "stuff" happen??

There are time and mileage requirements for warranty to be in effect.
You don't state the mileage.
In your owner's manual should be some explanation of warranty and coverage. Did you purchase any kind of extended warranty?

Default Warranty

I'm 20 k under and 1.3 years under my warranty.
I bought the premium package at purchase.
20 k or 1.3 years left on it either way, just to do services they want it for 2 days, just stupid.

You don't seem to have much choice. Is it better for you to be without your vehicle for just 2 days or a much longer period?

There are not too many places just waiting for you to come in , they usually do have other commitments

2 days is not that long to do a big job and have it done right, you might reconsider.

Default Warranty

Hell I'm good with 2 days, they want my truck for 2 months. That and no replacement or user that I'm not ok with. I said the time frame they want my truck for, is it Ford's policy to leave their clients stranded when they are paying for their vehicle, it never was in the past. They could could make an appointment, oh yea they've done that two times and canceled both times.

Not knowing what the warranty cost you, but does it state anything about , loaner vehicles, where you can go for repairs . You might have a better chance with an outside shop.

Default Warranty

The warranty covers any and all repairs except glass and wipers, tires unless sidewall bolw out for 70k miles or 7years, all services, and oil changes for the same terms. If the purchased vehicle is not available for warranty repairs or recalls Ford is supposed to provide rental or loaner of equal ability while vehicle is in their possession to fix or repair.
It is the best warranty they have available to be added at my cost, and I took it. There's even a 200 dollar allowance for each service or oil change.

Warranty was 6995 dollars extra.

What if you spoke with the dealership manager/owner ?

The warranty folks are obligated to stand by their policy which if they don't, as I see it your next step is to consult with an attorney to verify your rights under the warranty.

We believe the performance of the warranty company will be as stated in the warranty provisions whereas if they don't adhere to those terms and provisions they can be charged with default and you might be able to get your money back and wind up giving it to your attorney.
That is only my opinion and you best check with your attorney .
