Default trans. fluid cooler 360 cu in.

'68 ford f240 360 cu. in. v 8 engine. This engine has an transmission fluid cooler that looks like a small radiator. Was wondering, to save space in the engine bay, does anyone make a different type of cooler that maybe can be installed on the frame rail? Also if something is installed on the frame rail, would it interfere with a power steering pump?

You won't get the desired cooling if mounted out of the air stream.
That is why they are placed below the radiator..
