I own a 2000 Windstar and have had many problems with it. I replaced the transmission at 30,000 miles among many other things. Now the brake light comes on and off at will. I did take it in to Ford and they said usually it comes on when the brake fluid is low. I was supposed to take it back and leave it, but funds are low right now and the brakes seem fine. I am so tired of putting money into it. Does anyone have any ideas of why the brake light is coming on? The guy at Ford said it could be a fuse problem.
