I have a 1995 aerostar that is leaking transmission fluid. The odd thing is I'm gaining engine oil. I'm not losing coolant and the oil is getting clearer. How can the transmission leak into the engine? It's getting worse, maybe a quart every 200 miles. Yes I'm putting the fluid into the trans dipstick hole. It got the 3.0L v-6 7 passenger. Any ideas?

In case anyone has a similar problem it was a modulator on the transmission.
My wifes uncle had a similar problem years ago on a truck.
