Is Mercon V trans fluid synthetic?

Default Is Mercon V trans fluid synthetic?
I would like to go with a synthetic trans fluid, and at walmart there is no mention of it (Walmart brand) being synthetic.

Is it a good idea in an 05 or an 2000? And any other suggestions on a good brand?
