Default 1984 E150 Blower Motor Low Air Flow

In my 1984 e150, I recently replaced my blower motor as the old one squealed terribly. Now that I've re-assembled and fired it all up, I get little to no air flow out of any of the vents. I can feel that it is warm air when the heat is on, there is just very little flow. When I adjust the fan speed with the selector switch, I can hear it change speeds, but there isn't any noticeable difference in air flow.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Did you make sure the motor is rotating in the same direction as the one you removed?
Something you could try,
You would maybe need to remove the glove box so you could see most of the duct work.
There should be a passage for the motor to pull in outside air. make sure that is not blocked.
If that checks out OK, then follow the ductwork to confirm no doors are jammed in the closed position.

I did not check the direction of the new motor vs. the old - the wire colours (orange and black) matched up so I connected the new wires to the old and re-installed. It didn't make any sense to me that they would be different (maybe a rookie mistake on my part). There is no glove box to remove, it would mean disassembling the dash to check the ducting (very possible but not ideal). Thanks for the input.

Checking in on this again with an update but no resolution. I have verified the motor is spinning the right direction, I've check all the ducts and blend door actuation (using a wifi scope camera from amazon - $30!), I've verified that the coils/heater core air passage are not plugged, the only thing I have left to try is the outside fresh air intake - does anyone know where this is located? There is a recirc intake inside the cabin for max A/C, but I can't find the one that should be pulling in air from outside for all other modes. Any other suggestions?
