Default 1997 E150 fuel rail question

I have '97 Ford E150 5.4L. My first time doing a tune up on a COP engine. I was told I can unbolt the fuel rail without disconnecting it to make it easier to get to the coils and plugs. At the end of my rails there's what looks like a orange and black plastic plug that goes into the manifold. What are these orange and black things and what do they do? If I unbolt the brackets that hold the rail in place will moving the rail damage or affect these things? Thanks.

Those are your injectors. Its not so bad if they come off the fuel rail while changing plugs. I reinstalled it with no leaks.

Thank you for replying.
You are the ONLY one to reply. I'm disappointed in others on here ( Hanky, Heiko ) that answer the most basic to difficult questions all the time but mine was ignored.
I posted that question awhile back and it seemed like this forum went dead, I wasn't getting any posts on any subject.
I did the plugs and coils a month ago after driving home from work and having only enough power to climb a hill at 2 mph. I took my time over 4 days to do the job, no rush. I didn't move the fuel rail and struggled to get around it but got the job done.
Thanks again.

Sorry we missed your post.

Sometimes work loads and commitments dictate how much time on site is available. Glad you got it fixed.

Speaking for myself,,If I think,,,, I don't have a good possible answer, I do not respond.

The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know. Please excuse me, still learning, lol.
