Hello Everyone-

I have a 1999 Ford E150 in which the passenger door, the one where the kids hop in and out of the van, is really stuck. It is a cargo door not a slider. I have taken off the panel, reached around inside, but having the darndest time trying to get the thing to unlock. I can't even open it from the inside or outside.

Any help would be soooo appreciated, since having the kids going in and out of our van through the front and rear doors, kinda looks like one of those clown cars at the circus so to speak......and its very frustrating to me not to be able to fix it!!

From what I can recall with these doors, there is a rod that used to come out of it's link because a plastic retainer broke. I believe , if you care to do this, the rear door is similar and you may be able to see how it works and just what is not working on the side door. It's worth a try and if you can fix it , It'll be worth it.
