they either put the 4R100 or the 4R70W in it. best way to tell for sure is the pan sticker, gets its number, call a dealer or transmission re builder that knows these transmissions and ask which diameter goes to which. in this case: 4R70W= 3/8 4R100=5/16 ( im pretttttyyyy sure lol, were gonna find out soooon)

MOST times replacement metric fittings are coated blue and I can't believe a trans rebuilder doesn't know this.

he said he knows the size but it is entirely dependent on what trans is in the van. (4R100 or 4R70W) they way to tell is the sticker on the pan, since my van is on the cross member with no tires on its difficult to even try to read the numbers. if i could tell him what trans i have he can tell me the line size. also the VIN number is literally useless to find out the transmission, i already tried.

The trans code on the door sticker should tell you what trans is in your vehicle,,Unless somebody changed the trans before you got the vehicle.

It has "Trans" listed and under that is the code number or letter.

Give us that digit and we should be able to provide the trans type.
