Good morning everybody I hope you are having a wonderful day so far. I have a Ford 2014 E350 super duty van, V8. The emergency / parking brake light stays on consistently. When I drive the chime rings nonstop as well as the light staying on as if the parking brake is engaged but it is not. I have checked the fluid level in the reservoir, I have replaced the sensor in the master cylinder reservoir, I have also replaced the switch underneath the parking break pedal. I have searched high and low on the internet and cannot find anything else that would cause this ear aching chime. It only chimes when I drive and sometimes it pulsates and flickers on and off sometimes it's just steady all day. While parked and in park the light stays on but no chime. It will not chime if I put on my blinkers or my hazard lights while driving. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My ears and sanity would be very grateful. Thank you.

 

Bump as I have the same problem on my 2001 E350 7.3. Chime comes on every 30 minutes
