Your procedure is correct for marking and reinstalling the torque converter to the flywheel.
If the torque converter was very easy to rotate it was probably empty and it could be due to no oil pressure being built up from the pump assy.

That is exactly what it was. It was the converter being low on fluid. As much as I hate to say it. My own fault for not recheking the fluid. Five courts and about two hours of cycling threw the gears later. I finally have a moving vehicle. Thank you for all your help and patience with troubleshooting this threw with me. Thank you again.

Not the converter. But the pan was low for sure.
