How do you remove the EGR valve in a 96 5.8?

Default How do you remove the EGR valve in a 96 5.8?

I have 96 E150 club wagon with the 5.8L engine. How do you remove the EGR valve? Whats the best way to get to the back bolt?

Its been a while since I last did one of those. Its a stinker , but be careful they are rusted in pretty well. Soak it first with Liq wrench or bb blaster. Wd 40 is not that good.
The large nut on the bottom if I recall correctly is difficult to get at also. Patience pays.

Thanks for the advice. Fortunately I didn't have to remove it. It turned out to be a bad EGR feedback sensor. I replaced the sensor and now she runs fine.
