Where is the blower motor resistor!?!
Hello! I have a 1990 E350 with a 7.5 liter engine. Everything runs great minus the front blower. The a/c & heater work and the rear blower works fine but the front is a no go. The blower was intermittently working but has now completely stopped and won’t turn on. I have replaced the controls for fan speeds, the blower motor relay, but still no change. I need some ideas on what else to check or replace and I have no idea where the resistor is. Any help would be fabulous thank you!
I agree 100%. I have a 2006 E150 Chateau and have replaced the blower motor twice. Go online and find a Motorcraft unit. They will last 2x as long as Dorman or other aftermarket units. This is a simple repair as the blower is mounted on the firewall in the engine bay.
Just remove the blow motor and do a bench test, only 2 wires, one is positive and the other is negative.
If the bench test result is good, reply back then I can submit diagrams for you to follow up what to check next.

Fusible links don't open just for the fun of it.. Something is drawing more current then that the link was rated for Keep an eye on it because it WILL happen again.
The most likely cause is the blower motor becoming difficult to rotate, pulling more current and exceeding the capacity of the link.
If there was a fuse instead of the link, it would blow much sooner.
Thank you for the update..
