Default 2007 escape has a loud high idle while stopped ,also vibrates
2007 escape engine gets loud while stopped at red lights, in traffic etc ,also vibrates . Seems fine while driving. Could it be the catalyctic converter?

IDK about why it seems loud at idle but vibration at idle is often due to worn motor mounts. I replaced all 3 of mine recently on my 09 2.5L ant that resolved the vibe at idle issue
