Default 2017 Ford Escape

I have a 2017 Ford escape 2.0 that when they were driving it it overheated and pretty sure it blew the head gasket and the valve cover gasket. When I first looked at it. It was low on oil. Took about a Court to read on the dipstick. Also was completely low on coolant. I replaced the head gasket cleaned everything up really well got it torn down and I am still white smoking out of the exhaust. It's a crazy amount of white smoke coming out. I've also replaced the valve cover gasket which fixed the oil leak. Was thinking about buying a cylinder leak down tester or maybe a radiator pressure tester. Which do you think will work best or what is your advice on what to say next

When small engines overheat, they can warp the engine head. That needs to be checked. A cooling system pressure tester can be rented from some auto supply stores, check them. Then you won't need to purchase one.

What do the spark plugs look like ? If coolant is getting into the combustion chamber, the spark plugs could have white deposits on the cylinder(s) with the problem

If it is found the head is warped, an automotive machine shop might be able to shave it and salvage it , other wise a rebuilt head could be on the horizon.

I apologize I forgot to mention that I have had the had machined completely flat. I can't remember exactly what the spark plugs look like other than they didn't look terrible when I checked them. I'm getting ready to leave town head back home where the vehicle is at so I could look at them again and maybe take some pictures.

It sounds like you're still dealing with coolant entering the combustion chamber, which is causing the white smoke. A cylinder leak-down tester is a great next step to pinpoint if there's an issue with the head gasket or cylinder walls. A radiator pressure tester can help confirm if the cooling system is holding pressure. Also, double-check for cracks in the head or block.
