So I just had to replace the air filter on my Escape 2.0 Engine. And I saw several reviews, even on other manufacturers, that the filters were too large. I have the 2019 Escape. But I saw one that said NAPA's 9017 was a perfect fit. So I bought that, (had the other with me and compared side by side) seemed good. Went home, installed and yes it did fit. BUT!!! But the bigger problem is FORD making the air filter housing just too darn tight. It gave me a lot of hassle until I could get the filter properly into place on the bottom. Then more hassle getting the top in place and the screw holes lined up properly. Shame on Ford for not making this much simpler. I also have a 2006 Ford E-459 RV, and on it, replacing the air filter is much easier.
