Red face Where is the cabin air filter located in a 2003 Ford Escape

Ok so I was told that my Ford Escape has a Cabin Air Filter, was told I could change it my self. But was never told where to find it. I would very much like to change it. Also Air bag light was coming on and was told that it would cost me over $1,000.00 to change out the harness, Changed out the Alternator and the light has not come back on.

Not positive exactly where the cabin filter is on your vehicle, but on a Taurus it is located on the passenger side under the wiper . Since all incoming air comes in through heat system intake I would expect it to be in the same place. If you remove the plastic type screws on the passenger side cowl it is tucked in under there. Let me know how you make out. hanky
