Expansion tank lower hose
I'm having an issue and I don't know much about it so I'm bringing it here.. I'm tryin to flush my coolant system out I took out my thermostat so I would get free flow my problem is that the expansion tank is not draining like it should at all and I'm wondering is that bottom hose if you was to blow in it is it supposed to have resistance or should you be able to you know feel the flow I guess is the word I'm looking for.... Because I definitely have resistance when I blow through it you actually can't blow through it that's why I'm asking the question... Oh and by the way thank you for welcoming me into your house so to speak
Actually I have one more question about that particular hose the small hose at the bottom of the expansion tank where does it run to on a Ford escape 2004 3.0 and could it be clogged I guess that would be part of the first question sorry guys

Without actually looking at the set up, only thing I can suggest is if the hose in question comes off the neck of the radiator and is controlled by the radiator cap you will not be able to blow through it until a valve in the radiator cap opens and allows vacuum from the cooling system to pull coolant back into the radiator.
On some systems the coolant recovery tank is pressurized too , so don't know what you have without looking at it,
