Hello. Just bought my daughter a ‘21 Escape SEL with 24,000 miles. We are having a random problem with remote starting using the FOB. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t. The LED on the FOB will display solid red, and nothing happens.

I have FordPass configured on my phone, and the remote start feature works fine.

Please help.

Did anybody change the battery in the non working remote?

 

No sir. Am going to try that this evening. Little skeptical of that, because everything other function of the FOB works fine.
