I have a 2018 Escape with 40,000 miles. Yesterday my left BLIS warning quit, as did my rear cross traffic warning. My dealer has no idea what happened and wants $100/hr for diagnosis. Does anyone gave a clue as to cause, and repair cost?

 

Could you tell us just what you mean with BLIS ?

 

I was hoping you were referring to ADAS
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
All these systems are great , but when they quit, not everyone is equipped to diagnose/repair them. The service charge is not unreasonable considering so few places can service them..

 

BLIS is Ford's name for their Blind Spot warning system. It lets you know about cars in your blind spots and will also warn you about vehicles when you are backing up.
