When I am applying pressure to the Brake Peddle of a Ford Escape it is making a creaking noise. The Brakes work fine

Have you owned it since new?
What part of the country do you reside?
Has anyone else looked to see if they could find the source?
How may miles on it?
There is always a disturbing thought that comes across my mind and that is, has the vehicle ever been under water in any flood situation? There are loads of vehicles that get shipped out of the flood area to unsuspecting consumers that have no idea what the vehicle has been exposed to or a deal too good to pass up.
