Default Finding Block Heater cord?

2007 Escape. Does anyone know how to check if my Escape came with a block heater or if I am simply being blind and can't find the cord?

Most of the time the cord plug is tied to the front of the vehicle in the grille area,,,,,,,,,,,,,but not always, depending on if one is installed on the vehicle and if that is where the person who installed it decided to place it.
If there actually is one on the vehicle you should be able to spot an unusual wire coming off the engine and going to the outside of the vehicle toward the front grille area.

Thank you.
well, I am having to assume there isn't one...I spent so much time following wires and poking around in there this morning my hands look like cracked asphalt. I really thought they would be standard in a Canadian vehicle. >
