Smile Spider

So I'm just posting this because I think it's funny and interesting...
So I have my friends 06 Escape in a silver\green color... I guess
and when it's parked in my driveway it faces West.. So last year. I noticed that a Spider had made a web
between the mirror and the door frame... NO problem I don't care.. It's a very fine web and not ,concentric
Now the interesting part, I was at Lowes today, and when I came out there was a Ford Explorer next to my
Escape, with the same color... When I get into the Escape I noticed that the Explorer had the same
Spider web in the same location as the Escape... Go Figure

thanks for reading and replying...

My interest is not the Spider itself, but that in both cases it is one species of spider and
both prefer the passenger side mirror location. In fact there is not another web on the Escape that is visible
Each Spider has a unique web of course not all Spiders make webs
Any way take care all..

We used to have crows perch on our fleet mirror brackets and peck at themselves in the reflection. Seemed it was always the drivers side, about the same time of the year. It would go on for days! Wonder what they thought looking in the wide angle spots?

Maybe the spiders position was because of sun direction?

I did not mean to start a thread on this, and thanks for the replies.

Naturally I had to find what type of spider makes this type of web.
One is the common "house" spider.. 2 is the "Black Window"
and there are a few others.

Interesting about the birds...
