Need to know ,
Does it happen only when cold, hot ?
What about spark plugs , fuel filter, anybody check the throttle position sensor?
Why did they replace the o2 sensor?
May be time to find another shop.

I don't believe it is professional to poo poo another shop regardless of how questionable the work may be , but it is important to know when to get a second opinion especially when it costs $$ and the problem is not corrected.
Swapping parts can get expensive when guessing too!
With so many electronic components in vehicles these days it is better to check many things before jumping the gun. The question of asking about the throttle position sensor is only to suggest that it be checked. Diagnosing over the net is not always good thing to do. There must be another place that you can try to have the systems checked out. There are readings that a shop can take that could help reveal where there is a problem like eng temp, fuel trim, etc.,you just need to get to a good shop that will check these things.

I do appreciate your input, Thats true not poo poo a professional shop unless the problem ect wasn't solved Whatever.
I thought that someone might have a similar problem that could give me direction. Alot of unsuspecting people get reamed daily at these shops.
Yes the car is running lean reason for 02 Code. and the fuel trims will tell let me know just how lean its running I get it. This testing is well beyond the limits is the mentioned poo poo Shop.
Funny thing I have the tech ll scanner in the garage- also another escort to swap parts from to not throw money at the problem.
Any other suggestions?
