Me and my wife have a 2000 Ford expedition she came home today and when the truck is off it is making this whining noise from the driver's side sounds like it is coming from the tier and it killed the battery also the abs light came on anyone know what this is I have no idea what this is or even we're to start to look never seen, heard or had this problem

 

Can you open the hood over the engine compartment and possibly be a little more specific as to where or close to what area the whining sound may be originating.
There are a few things that could not be shutting down and without some help it could be any one of them, like a cooling fan for instance. If you decide you do not wish to do this, you could always have someone look and check it , if it doesn't stop, it could possibly cause the battery to become run down and result in a no start problem.
