Default help fuel pump?

Hey I have a 2003 expedition, about 43000 miles. Tried to get out of my driveway after driving it for about 25 min and it will start but stumble and not rev up or drive. Of course I turn off the radio so I can hear and I dont hear the fuel pump come on when key is on. I looked in my book for the fuse or relay and of course it says thats not a serviceable part.
Any ideas if thats my problem, and why cant I access the relay or fuse. WTF

just got the call, no psi from fuel pump
3 day wait on special order
under $1000 to do

sucks but my 30 gallon tank is almost full and I have no means to easily drop the tank to get to the pump
I figured it would cost between $800-1100 from reading online so I was prepared for the cost already, hopefully its one of those things they get it fixed and not say, oh now its this part at another $200 like has happened before on my moms car

Did you check the fuel filter?

if you mean replace no, I had replaced it few years ago, maybe at 25,000 miles
im not really sure if you can check them

you see I never heard the pump motor come on with the key, when before I could hear it
so to me it was either a relay or the pump, I was told the pump from the dealership mechanic

We would like to believe the dealership mechanic, however, experience has taught us check everything else before you condemn the pump, like wiring connections power to the pump and good ground at the pump. Just a reminder , the pump comes on for only 2 seconds when you turn the key on and unless the PCM gets an RPM signal it will not energize the pump. Did you try resetting the inertia switch?

No I did not reset anything, I was under a time limit to get it in I had 1-1/2 hrs and no service manual, and the ford forum website I frequent alot I guess has just closed down so I was struggling to find quick answers, when I found out that I couldnt access the fuse or relay through my book in my glove box I got pissed

Anyways if the dealer is honest they would of done all that and would inform me if it was something like that
But who knows, I read alot about the fords pumps going bad on google search, even newer models
