Help me! 2006 Expedition battery drain
My 2006 Ford Expedition has an issue with a battery drain. The truck wouldn't start one morning so I changed the battery. It ran well for a few days then on Christmas morning it was completely dead again. When it is boosted it will run but no advance trac and no 4x4 and no radio. It may stay charged for an hour or so then it's completely dead again and needs boosting. It is in at a friends shop but he can't seem to figure it out. My rear wiper is stuck and won't move and I can hear a small ticking sound when the truck is off like the motor is still trying to move the wiper. Anyone else have this kind of issue?

The first thing I would do is to find which fuse supplies the rear wiper motor and remove it. That fuse info can be found in your owner's manual in the section that shows the fuses and what they protect.
There could be more than one problem, but it's better to take them one at a time.
You may notice that fuse controls more than one system, so if any other things stop working you will at least know why.
What needs to be done now is to measure the current draw from the battery and see if it exceeds the usual approx 50 milliamps. If so, there could be another drain on the battery and the cause will need to be determined. There is a battery saver relay that is supposed to shut down most drains. The problem could be in that area.
