will not restart

will not restart
After driving for sometime and stop and turning the engine off it will crank but not start but after about 2hrs it starts right up. What is going on here can someone help 2001 Ed/B Exped

One of the possible causes could be insufficient voltage available to the PCM (computer).
Check all of the electrical wiring connections coming from the battery to the rest of the vehicle, especially the heavy wire on the inside of the driver's side fender well under the hood. It supplies battery power to the entire inside of the vehicle via the under hood fuse panel. Some have a plastic cover over the junction and these are known for getting corroded.

97 Taurus 3.8L V6, suddenly die while cruising. Couldn't restart, wait 30 min, it restarted then die
