Default 2025 Explorer Active with windshield wiper issue

Hello, new to this forum but long time Ford Owner
Just purchased new 2025 Explorer Active which has a windshield wiper issue that dealer is not familer with. Have to schedule service. Car does not have rain detection.
This is the issue:
When wipers are turned to slow normal continuous or high speed continuous after about a minute the wiper speeds slow and wiping goes to slow intermittent.
Not a pleasent thing when driving in pouring rain. Turning wipers off and back on repeats the condition. They go continuous and then go backd to intermittent.

Anyone seen anything like this before or have an idea why its happening?

Thanks

There are a few could bees that would require to verify sufficient power available to wiper motor after it heats up from use.

Once that is verified, then we go after the wiper motor itself.

On 5/19/25 Dealer changed out the windshield wiper switch on the steering column. This has corrected the problem. The wipers now operate correctly. Have driven in multiple rain events without issue.
