silly girl question again.
Daytime running light module on my 2000 is burnt out. The mechanic has (after 4 hrs of looking) removed it and done something so I now actually have headlights again. To replace the module is about $500.00. What will happen if I don't replace it?

 

The questions are , are the headlights on all the time the ignition is on?
Or do they just work like regular headlights except for no daytime running lights?
