Explorer clunk when turning and in reverse
I have a 2017 Explorer Limited. Over the past 6 months or so it has started a clunk when in reverse and turning- backing out of parking stalls, or my garage. But it doesn't do it all the time.
When it started it seemed to be only in the front passenger side. The last month or so I have felt it in the rear and once it was under me. It has been in the dealer 4 times. After worthless appointments of them not being able to duplicate the sound, my husband brought the tech to our house and backed out of our garage to make the sound. Tech finally heard it. They inspected brakes, lubed things and ordered a new strut...clunk was there the next day after replacement...
ideas??? Our dealership doesn't seem to have any
