1996 or 1997 F150 lariat HELP
The sticker inside the door jamb says 01/96 but my truck is the next generation (1997)body style please HELP what year is my truck ? the VIN # 1FTDX1861VKA04646

It looks like your truck is a 1997 from the 10th digit which is a V.
What does your title and registration say?
Sometimes the dates on the door sticker are not always what year the vehicle is. Some of those dates are there to assist such as Mfg Date for parts procurement purposes.
When mid year changes were made, those dates on the sticker become quite important to obtain the correct info for parts.
