Question 1999 5.4l upper intake manifold with Heater hose connection

HI, am having major difficulty locating the replacement manifold for my 1999 5.4l 2v V8 engine. My truck is at the dealership and the mechanics are saying Ford doesn't carry the part anymore (sunset). My research has been unsuccessful, and I already bought a #615-188 [yr2000] thinking the production range would fit 97-03. In addition, the 4.6l manifold is narrower than the 5.4L. Sadly the used aluminum ones are super expensive and not sure Ford dealer is going to prep an old one.

So, what am I not understanding? Wrong model, engine year not really a 1999 or ??? I included pictures of the metal ones and the heater hose connector which is the critical item. The "upper plastic intake manifold" ordered from amazon/e-bay doesn't have a place to attach the hose? Would appreciate any help where to buy the correct one....

When we can't find the part we need for an older vehicle , relief came from a salvage yard. They could have what you need but sometimes will not strip certain parts unless the person took the whole engine.. If a pick a part has what you want , they may just let it go, it pays to check...

I can assure you there are some vehicles in a salvage yard that are in better condition than many on the road..

You might try ,
