Default 2000 f-150 4.2 v-6 no start

just bought truck know nothing about its background motor spins over , fires up with carb cleaner sprayed in, fuel pump works with direct electricity from battery charger,, but it wont run on its own with key, havent checked for codes ( was no battery in truck ) did note theft light flashing rapidly and doesnt shut off. With fuel pump forced injectors appear to not be firing any ideas or info would be appreciated. thinking PATS may be keeping injectors and fuel pump from running any ideas

The PATS could very well be the cause of the problem. If you have that second key try it. .
Keys sometimes lose their coding and will not allow the vehicle to start.
