2001 F-150 Start problem
I have a 2001 F-150 with 92K miles. Never had a problem until today. Truck wouldn't start, but was turning over like normal, so it's not the battery. Either wasn't getting fire or fuel. I made sure all the fuses were seated; basically, I just pushed on all of them. Then the truck started. Five hours later, the truck wouldn't start. Opened the fuse box (the one in the cab on driver's side), pushed on the fuses again, truck starts. Later, I pulled and inspected all fuses, inside the cab and under the hood. They all look good, all were seated properly.
I doubt my fidgeting with the fuse box really did anything, so I'm lost. Could it be an electrical problem? Can a fuel pump 'act up'? Any ideas?
Thanks.

One other observation....
Just tried to start it again...the problem is back. This time I noticed the THEFT light blinking rapidly, never noticed that before. Tried myspare key, started right up. Killed it, tried the 'suspect' key...started right up. WTF? Can my key be the problem, maybe going bad? I'll carry both sets tomorrow just in case. I'm lost.

When it is running do you get any kind of check engine lights coming on or anything? Im just curious if you have any codes stored in your computer that may explain the problem. sounds like a bad ground in the engine system. let me know if the engine light comes on or not and we will go from there.
