Hope it's alright to post about a Lincoln here since I'm assuming it's the same as a F150, My problem is the truck wouldn't shift into 4-low or 4-high and the light for it wouldn't come on, So I changed the Transfer Case Motor and now the light comes on and it shifts to 4-low but won't shift to 4-high and the light goes out when I try too, I can here the motor kick in so that should be working, any help greatly appreciated.

 

Were you able to check if the motor was able to go the full travel in going to hi range ?

 

Sorry but not sure how to check it, seems weird that it shifts to 4-low but when I turn the **** to 4-high it goes straight to 2-high at least that is what I think it is doing since the light says it is in 4-low.

 

Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Finally got it fixed, it was the IWE Solenoid.
