Default 2007 f150 TPMS

I recently bought a 2007 F150 with a 3 in lift and 35's on it. What is the easiest way to fix the light for the tire management system and get it working properly? I was told that it couldnt be done with the lift and tires. The tires are 35x12.50 x20.

You can reset it with the Ford VCM. It can set the parameters for the tires to allow the light to go out. Have the tire pressures set to the door sticker also. There could be a low tire or one with too much air in it. Also one of the monitors may be reading wrong.

Just wondering...

Since you just bought the truck, was the TPS light on when you bought it? If it was, the the next question is...Do the tires even have sensors in them?

Yes the light was on when i bought it. It has aftermarket wheels and tires on it and the owner said that they told him that the TPS sensors couldnt be used on the wheels, now with that being said it could have been just a lazy mechanic or one that didnt know how to set them properly. i have no idea if they are even on the wheel.

Now we know why the light is on.
