2017 Ford F150 Eco Boost 10 speed transmission
I purchased my 2017 Ford F150 as a used vehicle returned on a lease. I bought the truck and it still has a warranty attached. I noticed a couple of months ago a vibration at low speed between gears 4,5 & 6. I took it to the Ford dealer I bought if from and told them this was something new. They had a master mechanic check it and he indicated nothing was abnormal. I had the transmission filter and oill changed and it continues to vibrate between 30 and maybe 45 mph but only at a mild acceleration. If ai get on it or accelerate at a high rate it doesn't do it. I took it back a second time and took the service manager on a ride with me driving. My truck vibrated and he told me it was normal in the 10 speed transmission. He indicated it is the transmission wanting to down shift because of the lower spied and not actually dropping into the lower gear. He said it is normal.normal but I feel it is not. I have the opinion that they might be saying it is normal as my warranty runs out this year.
