94 F150 5.0 starting issues
#21
Been a while since I posted; but, I finally got my truck where it starts like it's supposed to. After all the parts I replaced, it turned out none of that was necessary. The issue turned out to be the temperature sensor. I replaced it and now the truck starts like it should. I don't even have to press the gas pedal on a cold start or after it warms up to operating temperature. Last, but not least, I want to thank everyone for all of the recommendations and suggestions on how to repair my truck. I learned a lot from all of you.

My daughter was reading on a full size Bronco forum and came across three or four posts about the same issue, same engine, and one member said that's how he solved his problem. So, I decided to spend the money and try the same, and it worked. Apparently the sensor was saying it was too hot to start, even though the gauge never showed overheating. I guess that's the computer's way of not letting you ruin your engine. I'm not sure how he came to that conclusion.
