I want to cut the cats out of my truck (there are 4 of them) and just run straight pipe. I know it will effect the 02 censors, but I don't know what kind of problem it will create overall. Basically, will my truck run fine if I do this?

I'm pretty sure that some systems such as EGR depend on a certain amount of back pressure to function as programed. Certain Ford vehicles contained a restrictor plate in the exhaust system to assist with this. If you are going to remove all the emission systems as far as exhaust system is concerned you might get away with some things, but so much is tied in together it would be difficult to control the fuel system efficiently. This is only my opinion, unless you have excellent access to expert opinion and experience, you could be headed for some real problems. You might check with a racing team. I'm sure they would be better able to guide you. ,,,,,,,,,,,hanky
