This Chrome Valve cover makes no sense...
I am refurbishing a 1987 F150 Custom 2WD i6 4.9L.
I just purchased this chrome valve cover since I am changing the gasket anyway.
thought it would look great.
I just got here today and it makes no sense...
Its missing a hole to put the oil in and there is two screws missing to put my vaccum lines part on (I dont know what its called)
Am I missing something ? or did someone sleep at the wheel when designing this?
Here is the picture comparing the original and chrome valve cover.

Here is a link from the LMC Truck CAtalog:

Here is the same "type" of after market part from a completely other manufacturer:

Here is two other chrome valve covers for my truck that ALSO only have the two top holes;

I cant help but think I am missing something...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hard to tell by the images, but does the forward hole have ‘internal locking cam features? If so, then a cap with alike tabs would rotate to secure. Some tabbed caps are just a smooth top cap chrome/painted, some have an added hole in the caps top to carry the PCV depending on application. Not threaded like OE.
If the forward hole is smooth bore, then they sell a rubber push in fill cap,, some are chrome clad etc for dress.
The studded mounts could be fab’d off the head or cover fasteners, and looks like the PCV hole is larger diameter than stock, so a grommet to make up the change may be needed..,
