Default Dash cover remove/replace

I have a 98 F150 with a totally cracked up top dash cover and the radio/hvac cover as well. Can anyone give me tips on how to remove and replace both, please? I have already purchased replacements. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. (Note: I searched threads and could not find one on this particular subject, which is why I started this one).

The replacements should have some openings where plastic retainers might hold the parts in place. That should provide some idea where to pull or look for screws holding the part in place.. Many times we go by feel and sometimes we can see a fastener/retainer. Brute force can get you into trouble pretty quickly.
If you have all new parts , maybe you are able to see where retainers are located..

Thank you. I don't want to tear up new parts.

I randomly picked 5.4L. Check my signature to see why.
