Default Dumb question on F-150 4wd IWE grinding issues

So the common 4wd winter issues. Replaced my solenoid with the new one with the rain hood because moisture burnt my old one out. Tested out The 4wd and the indicator dash light came on again and it did click in 4wd. Now my actuator on my front passenger side seems to be half engaged because I’m getting that grinding noise in 2wd but mostly goes away when I keep in 4wd. Checked my vacuum lines and don’t see any issue. Went out and got a pair of actuators as well as hub assembly’s because I ground down my teeth inside hub. My stupid question that I’ve never played with is does it matter to start replacing my hub assembly first or do I fix the actuators before the hubs? Mine is the 2004 F-150 4.6l v8 new body style
